The Work Song Nanocluster

This was me a for the past few weeks! If you're not 100% sure what I'm talking about when you have a spare 30 minutes check out the episode of Big Bang Theory titled 'The Work Song Nanocluster" (Season 2 Ep 18).

Here's a small snippet here, here, here, here, and here. Minus Sheldon and swap out penny blossoms for frog softies and deer shirts... And for the record I didn't get anything finished!!!

How's your Christmas prep going? Mine isn't, not in the Christmas mood of late, hoping it isn't too far away.

In good news I officially enrolled in my course yesterday, hazah! Will be doing three days a week, can't wait!

Also we have our last Eastside Crafters Crafty Catch up for this year, but I have lined up the dates for next year, stay tuned for them!

But if you wanted to come to our last one, it's on Tue 20th December, 7.45pm - 9.45pm, $5 entry, bring a snack to share, and something you're working on craft wise.
435 Swansea Road, Lilydale, 3140. Lilydale Lake Community Room, playground end of the car park.

Till next time, keep crafting xo

Can you see the problem here??? And a freebie!

So annoyed, but have contacted TYPO as well as tagged them in a post from my page so lets hope I get a response.

This is also what I've been up to...

A logo for a friend of mine for her new business. If you live down Mornington way and love fresh fruit to your door, why not try Mornington Peninsula Cheap Fruit & Veg.

These are market signs and price tags for Lil Pip's first market as seen here. Jane had a brain wave by using her current logo, removing the wording, adding the price and cutting them out using a circle punch she has these cute little price tags so off I went! The signs will be in little frames, so cute!

What I've been buying...

Woodland fabric "Hoot Tweet Chirp Fox, Multi" from Spotlight - $16.94 p/m (but bought for 50% off!)|| Retro Space fabric "Retro Kids Space, Mult" from Spotlight - $16.94 p/m (but bought for 50% off!)||
Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set, Lowercase a to z from TYPO - $19.95|| Three Birds Tramp Stamp from TYPO - $2.95|| Versa Color Black Stamp pad from Spotlight - $3.99|| Large Papeir Mache Trunk with leather handles from Spotlight - $24.99

What else??? Oh did you see Pip from Meet me at Mikes on The Circle yesterday? I love seeing more craft on the TV, if you didn't catch it you can see it here. You can also check out some behind the scenes pics on pips blog!

Remember the cute frame I got from the latest issue of Real Living, I couldn't decide on what to put in it, I didn't want to use a photo, cos that's predictable so instead I did something else, granted for me it's kind of ironic as what I put in there is predictable for me LOL.

taaaaddddaaaaaa......

too freaking cute!!!!

And because I'm so freaking awesome I've made the chevron pattern into PDF's so you can easily download and print them off for yourself!

Simply Click the colours you would like, save them to your computer and print away!

A few of my favourite things...

These are a few of my favourite things...

I have a new fav magazine, and shock horror it's not craft related!!!!

It's Real Living!!!! OMG it's like home decor porn! It's ironical that I have fallen in love with home decoration when I don't actually have a home of my own! But when we do, look out!

{source}

This month (Nov issue) the mag came with a gorg wee frame.

{source}
Isn't it just cute! Not sure I'll keep the print but I just love the frame!

Anyway if you're wanting to flex your deco muscles or just oagle the gorgeous pages and dream I suggest you pick up a copy TODAY! Oh and there are also great budget tips and the chrissy issue is coming up with I can't wait for!

{source}

You can check out their site here or their FB page here.

PS there are also so yummy chevron pieces scattered through out ;)
PPS. This is not a paid advertisement, I seriously just love the mag!

What a morning....

My morning was spent watching Dora and Diego, oh and don't forget their friends, boots, map, the camera things, and swiper and Santa.... Who would have thought sitting in the sun for 1.5 hours without water and sunscreen would suck so much! They NEVER have these things outside, it's always inside on the main stage at Eastland, but this time it was outside just across from the coffee club. I'm beat oh and never doing it again!!!!

On to more exciting things, I got myself a new pair of sunnies, they were the best $5 could buy! And they have diamonties!

don't look at anything but the sunnies!
Smoke and Mirrors...
This was taken about 1hr into the festivities/nightmare! If I ever mention I want to become a children's entertainer please shoot me!

On the craft front I've not been doing much other than some design work. I've been helping Jane over on Lil Pip by making some price tags for the upcoming Maribrynong makers market she'll be at! Be sure to stop by and say hi! The market will be on the 26th November, 9.30am - 3.30pm.

I'm also designing a logo for a friends new venture, Mornington Cheap Fruit and Veg, stay tuned and I'll blog them when it's been picked.

I must get my butt into gear as I'll be sharing and running a stall at the next Huckleberry Market on Dec 4th at the Croydon leisure centre.

Please come and check out all the handmade loveliness!

Did you know we have a Facebook page? It's for both Eastside Crafters and the blog, so please come by and like so you can be kept up to day with my goings on as well as info about our crafty catch ups!
Speaking of which, it's coming up, it's on the 22nd November, only $5 entry. I would love to see you there!

Alrightly I must get started on my sewing! I got my rasant thread in the post yesterday so am going to give it a whirl!

Till next time, keep crafting! xo
